Contacts

What are Contacts?

Contacts are the people you communicate with through the portal. Every person you message — whether it's a customer, lead, or business partner — is stored as a contact. The Contacts page is your central directory for managing all of this information.

Think of it as your digital address book — you can add contacts one by one, import them in bulk, organize them into groups, and keep track of important details like phone numbers, email addresses, and custom information specific to your business.

Multi-channel contacts

EzPulze manages contacts per channel. This means:

  • A customer on WhatsApp and the same customer on Facebook Messenger are stored as two separate contacts
  • Each contact record is tied to a specific channel (WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram)
  • Contact details, conversation history, and lead data are tracked independently per channel
Why separate contacts?

Different channels use different identifiers (phone numbers for WhatsApp, page-scoped IDs for Messenger/Instagram). Keeping them separate ensures accurate tracking and prevents messaging errors across channels.

Who can access this?

Access to the Contacts page depends on your role and permissions. If you don't see the Contacts option in the sidebar, contact your administrator.
