Follow-ups
What are Follow-ups?
Follow-ups help you track and schedule future interactions with your contacts. When you need to call someone back, send a follow-up WhatsApp message, or email a prospect next week, you create a follow-up to make sure it doesn't slip through the cracks.
Think of it as a task manager for customer conversations — you set a date, assign it to an agent, and the system helps you stay on top of your commitments.

Each follow-up has a type that indicates how you plan to reach out:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Follow up via WhatsApp message | |
| Follow up via email | |
| Phone Call | Follow up with a phone call |
Follow-up Statuses
Follow-ups have three possible statuses, each shown as a colored badge:
| Status | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Open | Green | Active follow-up that needs attention |
| Closed | Gray | Completed follow-up — no further action needed |
| Delayed | Orange/Yellow | Follow-up that has been postponed |
Why use Follow-ups?
| Use case | Example |
|---|---|
| Lead nurturing | Schedule a call with a qualified lead next Tuesday |
| Customer support | Remind yourself to email a customer about their issue resolution |
| Sales pipeline | Track when to send a follow-up WhatsApp to a prospect |
| Team coordination | Assign follow-ups to specific agents so nothing gets missed |
How to get there
- Log in to the portal
- In the left sidebar, click Follow-ups

The Follow-ups page has these main areas:

| Header | Page title with an Add Follow-up button |
| Search bar | Search by contact name or mobile number |
| Filters | Filter by status, assigned agent, created by, follow-up date, and next follow-up date |
| Follow-ups table | Lists all follow-ups with details and actions |
